This styled shoot was an utter pleasure to be involved in! The resulting images are truly breathtaking and tell a wonderful story of modern romance with all the elegance provided by a magnificent setting.
As usual with lots of the styled shoots I collaborate on, plans were scuppered by the weather. This chilly February shoot was no different, and as with event planning, a plan B is always required. In typical unpredictable British weather we saw every season in one day! Yet despite the torrential rain, wind and hail the sun did make an appearance and some wonderful imagery was captured.
One of my partner venues Minley Manor was the setting for this beautifully elegant outdoor shoot, and was the conceptual brainchild of photographer Masha Unwerth. I fell in love with Masha's style of imagery and storytelling, and when we connected over finding a suitable venue, I knew I had the perfect setting for this shoot.
Thanks to Masha's chosen team of professionals, who persevered in the freezing cold to create the most romantic winter wedding setting to compliment the beautiful architecture of the grade II listed Manor.
Burgundy and Marsala are the key hues used in this colour palette, with an abundance of green and luxe cream accents. Luscious florals, a textured wedding cake, ultra-romantic floral motif on the bride’s gown, flawless modern stationery, and a table setting that suits the mood at the heart of this inspirational series of images.
